Add 'Event date' property for HubSpot-Eventbrite Integration

Commenting on behalf of a customer: Currently, the HubSpot-Eventbrite Integration does not register the actual date of an event a contact registers for in HubSpot. The Last Registered Event Date property only stores the datetime value when the registration for the event took place.

As a result, there is no way to automate marketing emails pre- or post-event using HubSpot date-based workflows. This is especially true when creating a Eventbrite event that has multiple occurrences.

A workaround would be setting a custom Event date property via a workflow as below but this some manual work and requires Event titles to be unique (thus no feasible for events with multiple occurences:

  1. Contacts enrol when their Last Registered Event is known
  2. The workflow then branches based on the value of the Last Registered Event. However, this requires the Last Registered Event titles to be unique.
  3. You would then add a branch for each event happening and set the Event date property to be the date of the event.
  4. Each time there is a new event, you would add a new branch to the workflow.

I agree! This is so needed for post-event follow-up.

@MGan Any updates on a solution or workaround for this? Highly needed.

I need this too - what is the point of a native integration missing this key information? otherwise you need to have a 3rd party integration, doesn’t make any sense

This is definitely needed, you would typically expect this to already exist from a native integration with an events based platform.

It’s hard for me to believe that we can’t report on this. The integration pulls in the event start date and time and event end date and time. All Hubspot needs to do is make that available as a filter. :frowning:
