Currently, Marketing Events in HubSpot display both Total Registrations and Current Registrations on the event overview page. However, in the Custom Report Builder, the available Registrations field appears to map only to Total Registrations, while Current Registrations is not available as a dedicated reportable property.
This creates a discrepancy between the numbers users see in the Marketing Event UI and the numbers they can use in reports and dashboards. For organizations that track webinar, event, and campaign performance, Current Registrations is often the most meaningful metric because it reflects the actual number of actively registered attendees after cancellations and re-registrations have been taken into account.
Requested Enhancement:
• Add Current Registrations as a native Marketing Event property available in the Custom Report Builder.
• Ensure it reflects the same value shown in the Marketing Event overview page.
• Make it available across reporting, dashboards, and custom analytics.
• Clearly distinguish between Total Registrations and Current Registrations in reporting interfaces and documentation.
Business Impact: Without access to an exact Current Registrations field, teams must rely on workarounds and approximations, which can lead to inconsistencies in executive reporting, event performance tracking, and marketing KPI dashboards. Providing this field would improve data accuracy, reporting transparency, and alignment between the HubSpot UI and reporting capabilities.
Use Case: We use Marketing Events to track webinar registrations and need dashboards that accurately show the number of currently registered attendees. The current workaround does not always provide an exact match, making reliable reporting difficult.
