# Add Contacts via Webhook

I am trying to configure the free edition of Hubspot to receive a webhook from a third party app that does not have a native integration. I know I can use Zapier or Make or Integrately but would prefer a direct solution.

I created a private app, but that only appears to allow an api connections.  
Any guidance on how to do it would be appreciated.

Hi, @JoeVarNJ 👋 You’ll either need to build an app or use a 3rd party tool similar to what you listed. The community can assist with specific questions, but often can’t reply without more information.

I’d suggest adding:

- how you’ve built your app
- what endpoints you want to utilize
- roadblocks or errors you are hitting
