hi, what is the purpose of adding contacts when you see the lead in workspace. even if the company has associated contacts they don’t appear there, and if i add the contacts, i still have to assign the contact, as it don’t appear in the lead line.
after adding the contact thre, i still have to add in the line
thank you
Hi @EGONZALOPALOM,
Think of your company record as a directory of everyone you know at that organization. A lead, on the other hand, is a specific sales opportunity you are actively pursuing with that company.
Adding contacts directly to a lead lets you highlight the key people involved in that deal. These are the decision-makers for the opportunity.
This approach is helpful because a company might have many contacts, but only a few are relevant to a particular deal. Associating the right people with the lead keeps your focus on the stakeholders who truly matter for closing that deal.
While it may feel like an extra step, this process helps keep your sales efforts organized and targeted.
Hope this helps clarify things.
Hi @EGONZALOPALOM
Leads can be created related to contact or companies.
And specially when you create a LEAD from a company, you want to know who are you talking to in that company.
That is the purpuse.
Also the idea is to have all associations properly done to have a better tracking.
This way you avoid having 2 team members working the same contact twice.
Have in mind that LEAD, contact and Company they are all different objects
with independence, meaning, with their own information.
Hope this helps
