It would be incredibly helpful if HubSpot allowed us to customize the color theme of different objects. For example:
- Tickets could be one color
- Contacts another color
- Custom objects their own unique color
Right now, all object records look visually the same. This makes it easy for team members to lose track of which type of record they’re working in, especially when switching quickly between tickets, contacts, and custom objects.
Why this matters:
- Improves user experience and reduces confusion
- Helps reps and service teams stay oriented while navigating multiple records
- Provides quick visual cues without needing to read the header every time
- Enhances productivity and accuracy by lowering the risk of updating the wrong record
Suggestion:
Enable admins to assign a background color or accent color to each object type.
Even simple color coding (like Contacts = green, Tickets = blue, Custom Object = orange) would be a huge usability win.
