# Add a JavaScript file to HubSpot

Hi Hubspot Support,

I would like to import a JavaScript file to Hubspot [Add a JavaScript file to HubSpot](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/design-manager/add-a-javascript-file-to-hubspot)

Can I call any hubspot variable in the Javascript file that I will upload.For example can I have the contact ID/first\_name/last\_name of the user in the JS file that I uplaod.

Hi @MStoja I believe this is a question better asked in the [Developers forum](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CMS-Development/bd-p/designers_support). Through Operations Hub you can’t add JS files to HubSpot.
