add a 0% tax rate to comply with local tax regulations

Our tax authority mandates that when goods are supplied at a 0% VAT rate—such as when we export goods abroad or store them in a customs warehouse—we must not charge VAT but are required to note a 0% VAT rate on our quotes and invoices. This practice is crucial for compliance with our local tax regulations.
Unfortunately, we have discovered that HubSpot’s current system does not accept a 0% tax rate, which poses a challenge for us in adhering to these regulations. We have been unable to find a workaround or setting within HubSpot that allows us to include a 0% tax rate on our price quotes and invoices. It’s already ok when we can use 0 but are only allowed by the system to use >0 fort example 0,01
Given the importance of this feature for our operations and compliance (and also for other companies), I am reaching out to see if there is a possible solution or workaround that we may have overlooked. Alternatively, we would greatly appreciate any guidance on how we might work together to incorporate this capability into HubSpot’s platform.
Understanding the complexities that changes to the system might entail, we are open to discussing any possibilities that could help address this issue. Whether it be a custom development, an upcoming feature, or any advice on how we can adjust our current processes, your expertise and support would be invaluable to us.

Same problem here, making it impossible to work with Hubspot for any invoicing. Real pity!

And the same here. In most EU countries you can’t just not mention VAT, according to the law, you should state, that VAT is 0%.
This technically seems not to be such a problem but looks like it is. Let’s push Hubspot to solve it.

Same issue for United Arab Emiates VAT. Need to specify on the invoice when an item is “Zero Rated” or “Standard Rated”. This is different from “Tax Exempt” where there is no need to specify VAT.

Also, imporant to have the Zero Rated lines as Standard and Zero rated items can be mixed on the same quotation/invoice.

We are having the same issue dealing with the UK government’s zero rated electrical vehicle grants - means we are unable to quote correctly via HubSpot
