I’ve been using A/B tests to test headers/messaging, but I’d like to test multiple variations at once. With adaptive testing you can add 5 variations, but every time I try to set this up, I get this error message: There was an error creating your test. Please try again in a minute.

I reviewed the knowledge base article for adaptive testing and noticed a note that said **all adaptive pages must include a form**.
And technically, my page does, but the form is on the footer. Since this is a global element, does this not count as a form on the page, and is that why I am getting this error?

Hi @LNg47,

I haven’t tested this before but HubSpot might indeed expect a dedicated form module outside of a global element for this test setup to work – you could confirm with HubSpot support.

Alternatively, clone your assets, place a form into the page body (outside of the footer) and see if the test goes through – if it does, that would also answer the question.

Best regards!

Thanks, I cloned the page and did a quick test. It does appear the form has to belong to the main content area of the page. Thanks again.
