Actual Meeting duration and actual attendees

Your forum has many requests for this, but it wasn’t yet listed in “Hubspot Ideas”. What is needed is to log what REALLY happens in meetings, not what was SCHEDULED to happen.

Currently Hubspot Calendly integration logs the following:

  • Meeting name
  • Meeting start time
  • Meeting end time (Calendly integration fills these with the SCHEDULED start and end, not what actually happened)
  • Meeting description (meeting link, timezone, notes in one text field)
  • If a meeting was rescheduled or canceled (if done from Calendly only)

Details needed, in order of importance, are:

  • Actual duration of the meeting (if more than one attendee)
  • List of attendees
  • How long each attendee was in the meeting (recorded in a data format that could appear in the Sales Rep’s activity tab to show the performance of that individual)
  • Link to the meeting recording, if any.

There are several use cases:

  • Consultant firms need to know how much time was given the customer in meetings.
  • Companies providing support by the hour.
  • Sales departments tracking ACTUAL activity by each Sales Rep, whether to track performance for HR purposes, or to evaluate a company’s overall revenue trend.
  • Removing manual entry from the equation (which can be intentionally padded, accidentally mis-entered, or entirely forgotten to be entered… or just to remove the wasted time from entering data manually)

Phone time is pretty well tracked, emails are tracked, but meeting details are sorely lacking! It seems the only combo that does this automatically is SalesForce + Zoom meetings.

If Hubspot were to integrate this into Google Meet, Zoom and MS Teams (followed by others), it would be a unique selling point against Salesforce.

I think I’ve made my (and the forum users’) case.
