# Activity Log

I’ve noticed recently that a few contacts and’or companies have disappeared. For example: I created a new company & contact about a month ago…I have the quote dated 12/11/23 that lists both…now the contact is no where to be found in HubSpot.

I believe I remember seeing an activity log that listed who/what/when there were changes made.

Was I dreaming?! lol

If not, can you tell me where I can find that report/log?

Hi @ALieber,

Have you checked whether the records are in the “bin”? [Restore&nbsp;deleted&nbsp;records](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/restore-deleted-records)

Also, is there a chance someone changed your permissions and you’re simply not able to see the records anymore? [Manage user permissions](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/edit-user-permissions)

The report you’re referring to might be the security activity history, under Settings \> Security \> Settings & Activity \> View security activity history.

The report you mentioned has not been helpful unfortunately.

How do I find out how records are disappearing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
