I had a CRM working until Monday of this week, it turns out that by adding users to the CRM to start using it (after having done the respective tests with other accounts) I deleted a test account of my own and inadvertently (because the page was slow to update) I deleted the administration account of that CRM therefore I was left without access to the account and the but of all is that I cannot open another account because the inbox has been configured in that first account and not I can configure the tray in another account. THE STRIKING THING IS THAT I KEEP GETTING EMAILS WITH THE DATA THAT IS STILL ENTERED IN THAT ACCOUNT AND I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF MY CUSTOMER’S DATA.
Hello @CalinaCasa , I would like to apologize for the frustrations, data issues, and business impact this has caused.
Wanted to check if there was a form in the other account? Did you deleted the account or the user? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps. I would like to share this knowledhe base here
If you’re unable to log in after following the steps above, submit your information to the HubSpot support team through the form below.
Kindly,
Pam
Hello Calina,
This is quite an issue, but I am going to keep it straight on how you can get it done.
Firstly, to regain access and also ensure data integrity in your CRM.
1. Contact HubSpot CRM support: Explain in details the deletion of the admin account and also the urgency of data access and Integrity issue.
2. Use Another Contact Method: If email support is slow, try using Live chat or phone support.
3. Verify Identity: Be prepared to verify your identity and ownershiRequest the p of the account. This might include providing transaction records, account details, or answering security questions.
4. Request Account Restoration: Typically Ask the support team for restoring the deleted admin account and also request the creation of Temporary Admin account.
5. Since you are receiving emails from the CRM, you can monitor ongoing activities and ensure unauthorized going and access are happening and also if possible back up all critical data from the emails you are receiving. This ensures you have a record of recent activities and customer information.
6. Prevent Future incident like setting up MFA [Multilevel Factor Authentication] once all the data are restored.
7. Regular Back-ups for the account.
8. Check if your CRM provides audit logs or activity reports to track changes and identify any unusual activities, and create a secondary admin account to ensure that you can also get your data restored if the Primary account is compromised.
