Access Influenced Campaign Data on Contact Records

When a contact is automatically influenced by a campaign, for example via a page view with a UTM parameter or interaction with an associated asset, this influence is correctly reflected at the campaign level in Campaign Performance and Influenced Contacts.

However, this influenced campaign data is not exposed at the contact level in a usable way.

The campaign CRM card on the contact record remains empty unless the association is added manually.
The contact to campaign association column only shows manual associations and does not include automatic influence.
There is no native contact property that captures the influenced campaign name or ID.
Workflows cannot populate contact properties based on influenced campaigns.
There is no supported way to copy influenced campaign data into contact level fields.

As a result, the influenced campaign data clearly exists in the backend and can be queried in reports and segments, but it cannot be actioned in workflows, automation, or downstream attribution logic.

Use Case

Marketing Operations and RevOps teams rely on campaign influence data to populate contact level fields such as first influenced campaign or most recent influenced campaign, trigger workflows based on campaign influence, route leads, apply scoring logic, personalize follow ups, and build accurate attribution reporting.

Today, even though a contact is counted as influenced by a campaign, there is no reliable way to reference that campaign from the contact record itself. This blocks automation and forces teams to rely on manual workarounds or incomplete reporting.

Why This Matters

Campaign Influence is a powerful concept, but without exposure at the contact level, its usefulness is limited.
For teams operating at scale, especially Enterprise customers, the inability to access influenced campaign data in contact properties creates gaps between reporting, automation, and attribution.

Exposing automatically influenced campaigns at the contact level, either via associations or properties, would unlock significantly more value from the Campaigns tool and align reporting with real operational needs.
