Ability to View Expired Quotes

Hey,

Users in my environment was trying to view expired quotes on mobile device. Is that a feature expected in future iteration of the mobile app?

Hey @RBrown42 - thanks for posting in the Community!
Just to clarify, was the issue that they were unable to view these quotes in the mobile app that they were able to see in the desktop version of HubSpot? I’m not aware of this limitation, personally speaking, so I’d like to tag in some Quote experts to see if they’re aware of this. @Josh, @Bryantworks, and @ChrisoKlepke - are any of you aware of not being able to see expired quotes in the mobile app?

Hi @RBrown42,

Unfortunately the Quotes object isn’t available in the same way they are on the desktop view under Commerce. I am not sure where that is on the roadmap, but if it isn’t already there it would be worth putting on the HubSpot Ideas forum.

If having this access is a must from mobile, here are a couple of suggested workarounds.

  • Use a workflow to create a task for the owner when a quote becomes expired. Tasks are available on the mobile App.
  • Custom objects are available on the mobile app, so you could, in theory create an object using a workflow when a quote becomes expired. I don’t love this solution, but it could give you the visibility you need.
  • Maybe my preferred for this scenario is to use a segment. These are available on the mobile app and you can apply other filters to make sure only the deals with expired quotes that are relevant are shown.

I think more of a comprehensive Commerce Hub functionality would be ideal on the mobile experience, but one of these workarounds might help!

Thanks for the ping @STierney!
