Ability to Turn Off "Smart Metrics"

In the new release, a huge bar of “smart metrics” appears above all lists of contacts. You can collapse in settings. However, if you navigate away, it reappears. I would like the collapsed state to be sticky at a minimum. I’d like to be able set collapsed as the default globally. As it is, it is slowing down my team, especially on laptops and mobile.
