One year later and I’m still waiting for this feature before moving our team to Hubspot.
This is much needed. Stop force feeding end users **bleep** they don’t need or use. Fine to show it to super users, but my sales reps dont need that many buttons!
The ability to hide unnecessary tools and simplify the UI seems like such an obvious thing… come on HubSpot, do better!
+1, the unusable features only serve to confuse our users. Please add ability to remove options based on Teams.
This would be extremely useful for the end users. A lot of tools should be hidden except for the ADMIN until the company chooses to roll them out. Otherwise, it creates so much confusion among the team. Please add this feature!
It’s bad enough having to deal with the extreme feature gating that HubSpot has, at the very least let us visibly hide the features we can’t afford to use.
This would be really helpful, expecially in upmarket deals and service implementations. Users who are working on tickets do not have to see tabs for commerce, marketing, etc. This only creates confusion and room for error.
I am aware that some settings hide some features, but there are still a lot of lingering menu labels.
In addition, we would like to see a feature to disable access to specific objects (e.g. hide companies for service employees that are only working on B2C, hide custom objects for sales employees, etc)
Again, I am aware of tests like disabling the tickets object altogether, but we would like to give specific teams/users access to objects that are relevant to them, without cluttering up the menu for others.
this needs to be changed asap.. user experience is the number 1 issue we have… and the complaint always is.. its to complicated. We have already decluttered our record pages down to simple easy to use views.. however the system UI has a whole is a cluttered mess of non useable buttons and actions.

Yes need this. There’s way too much noise and it hinders adoption. Our users aren’t getting as much out of Hubspot as they could, because it’s too overwhelming and there’s so much clutter with random stuff that is utterly irrelevant. Please improve this!!!
