When @mentioned in a note or a comment in a ‘deal’, ‘company’, ‘contact’, the user receives the notification e-mail without the context of the comment. Thus, one has to click a link and open a browser to see, where he/she has been mentioned.
It would be valuable to see the name of the object (Deal, Comment or Contact) right in the e-mail notification.
We are excited to announce we have opened a public beta that addresses some of the pain points raised here - specifically comment notification emails will now include details of the associated company/contact/deal/ticket etc. where the comment was posted.
Any HubSpot portal can opt into the beta by visiting the link here. We have also included a feedback survey in the new notification emails as we’d love to hear how customers find these updated notifications and what else we should consider to further improve HubSpot’s comment notifications.
