Currently in HubSpot, users can manually enroll a contact into a sequence directly from the contact record, but this same functionality is not available for workflows. At the moment, enrolling a contact in a workflow requires creating or adjusting enrollment triggers or filters within the workflow itself.
This makes it more complex and time-consuming to include a single contact — especially when you only want to run the workflow for one person without changing the criteria.
Feature Request:
Add the ability to manually enroll a specific contact into a workflow from their contact record (or from the Contacts view), similar to how users can manually start a sequence.
Why This Matters:
- Saves time by removing the need to edit workflow enrollment filters.
- Reduces the risk of accidentally enrolling unintended contacts.
- Provides more flexibility for one-off workflow use cases (e.g., testing, exceptions, manual actions).
Example Use Case:
A team wants to trigger a custom internal notification workflow for one contact. Instead of updating workflow filters to temporarily include that contact, they could simply click “Enroll in Workflow” from the contact record.
