Ability to make the Due Date of an Asana Task as Date Workflow is Enrolled

At the moment you can’t have the Due Date of an Asana task (that is fired as part of a workflow) as the date the workflow is enrolled, rather a pre-selected date.
I am suggesting that an “Execution Date” becomes an option, this means that the execution date is the date that the workflow is enrolled and fires the task.
For example if I set up a workflow on the 28th of June. 2021 and selected “Today”, and this workflow then fires on the 2nd of November 2021, this task will automatically be overdue.
Other systems like ZOHO CRM have an execution date meaning task due dates are accurate.

Attached is a screenshot from ZOHO for reference.
Another screenshot of the options Hubspot provide me for an Asana task, no execution date.

Same problem here. I was excited to see the Asana integration but this renders it much less useful. I have the desired felxibility for relative dats when creating HubSpot Tasks, so clearly the code logic exists.

Upvoting this as well! This is really helpful

I am running into this exact same issue, so I upvoted as well. The Asana integration has no value to me unless I can choose the “Execution Date.”

We have the same problem. Selecting a specific date rarely makes sense. It would be perfect if you could simply transfer the date from the Hubspot task to Asana.

Same problem here! Please Hubspot make the move :slightly_smiling_face:

There’s no point in having this integration if we don’t have the ability to modify due dates.

This integration is pointless without the ability to dynamically use data from Hubspot workflows to populate things like the “Due Date” or even make the “Assignee” the Hubspot Company/Contact owner. Hubspot has not acknowledged this basic request since 2021. Why?
