Hi all,
I’m trying to build a management summary dashboard in HubSpot with fewer reports and more consolidated tables.
At the moment, one of the biggest limitations I’m running into is filtering. In HubSpot, when I apply a filter, it affects the whole report rather than just one column in a table.
What I’d like to achieve is something closer to Excel behaviour, where a filter can be applied to one specific column only, without changing the other columns or the full report logic.
Example use case
I have reporting data that I’d like to bring into one table or a small number of tables for leadership reporting. Some columns need to reflect different filtered views, such as:
- pipeline values for one team
- closed business for another team
- target vs actual metrics with different logic
Right now, this seems to require multiple separate reports, because applying a filter changes the whole report instead of just the relevant column.
Feature request
It would be really useful if HubSpot reports allowed:
- column-level filtering within a single table
- different filter logic for different columns in the same report
- more flexibility for building executive summary tables without needing so many separate reports
Has anyone found a workaround for this, or is this a current product limitation?
Thanks!
