# Ability to clone advanced menus

Currently, when building an advanced menu under Content Settings, there is no way to clone a pre-existing one. You can only add another one or delete. If I have a menu with a lot of levels and pages that I want to keep, but also want a slightly different one on a different part of my site, it would be great if we could just clone full menus.

I am also looking for this option to clone/copy existing advanced menus.

@kleonard, just wondering if there is any progress in the ability to Clone Advanced menus or even have an API so a script could be built. Perferably it would be nice to have both but at this point I would take either one.

@kleonard Just wondering if there is any progress on this? Would be great if there was an Advanced Menu API so you can potentially copy a menu to another portal.
