We have quite a few properties which calculate the difference between two dates.
When these are included in a report and exported the values always default to hours. This leads to quite a lot of manual formula work within Excel to get these values to show as days.
It would be great if, when in the report builder, you could choose whether these values are shown in minutes, hours, days, weeks etc - similar to how you can choose the ‘Date Part’ for date properties.
We really need this ability for our ‘time between’ calculation properties. We use these for a variety of things, from calculating the time it takes between enquiry to start, from the time our customers start our service until they leave. For some parts - time between enquiry and start - days is fine as it is usually always within a month. However, for the time a customer (deal) spends with our service, it will show for example ‘400 days’ but we really want to see this in months, e.g. ‘1 year 1 month’.
The current reports work okay, but they still require an additional calculation to get it in the time format we need. Having that functionality would be a great improvement.
