I’m trying to list the feedback submissions and I’m getting the 403 error:
```
You do not have permissions to view object type
ObjectTypeId{legacyObjectType=FEEDBACK\_SUBMISSION}
```

Even though I’m a Super Admin + I’m using a developer account. The scopes are:

```
scope = [“crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read”, “crm.objects.custom.read”]
```

I tried fetching feedback\_submissions without “crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read” permission

using:
[https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/feedback\_submissions](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/feedback_submissions)

And got this:

I tried checking the properties of the object without “crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read” permission using:

/crm/v3/properties/feedback\_submissions

And got this:

Then I added the “crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read” permission to the private app that I was using and the error went away. Maybe double check if you really have the “crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read” scope in your app.

Hi, yes I’ve got `crm.objects.feedback_submissions.read` set as a scope in my app. I’ve removed the app and then re-added it to my account but still hit this issue. Is there any API I can call that would list the scopes for my app to check against the UI?

To add onto this the `conversations.read` returns a similar error so I suspect it’s something with the app. It would be really helpful if there was an API I could call with the attached access token and it would just return the app with it’s scopes the token is associated with to sense check the connection.

Also this is a public app (as you mentioned you’re testing a private app wondering if this might be different).

In fact, I can see the requests coming in to the app via the monitoring tab so it’s definitely going to the correct application with those scopes. I’ve also tried creating a brand public new app with the same scopes and hit the same error.

Hi @BRussell8 and welcome, we are so glad to see you here!
Thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community!
The feedback submissions API requires two scopes: crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.feedback\_submissions.read. Can you please confirm that you have both scopes added?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
Here are some resources for you:
- [Survey responses](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/crm-feedback-submissions-v3/guide)
- [Scopes](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/apps/developer-platform/build-apps/authentication/scopes)
Also, I’d love to consult our Top Experts: Hi @WesQ, @Anton and @evaldas do you have suggestions to help @BRussell8, please?
Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!
