Surprising seeing this feed that it still has not been addressed. Been a bunch of times I have needed this, hate having to make something custom for something so simple.

2025 and it’s still the case, badly need the 100% discount. Something so easy to fix but I guess they’re really not applying this ever, Hubspot failed me again.
Any updates on this! No answers from Hubspot staff? At ths point, this is a decision by hubspot to prevent this. When you register for inbound, it accepts 100% discount codes, so it’s possible. Abslutely ridicilous that in 2025 in a mature platform like hubspot they prevent customers from implementing 100% discont codes.
@CTA9 yes! I did an awful lot of experimenting before I realized this limitation was there. If you’re not going to give full functionality, at least give notice about it so we don’t waste our time trying to figure it out. How is this fix not done yet, with so many votes for it? Please, please, please! It would make things so much easier!
So, I worked with my account manager on this issue. She acknowledged the restriction makes zero sense. She sent the link to this message group to the tech team that handles the discounts.
The answer was that ‘this is a very big technical lift’ and while they understand the need, they are unsure of when it might happen. So don’t hold your breath. Very frustrating as hubspot has the problem solved for thier own website for inbound as they have 100% discount codes for that!

Is there any update on this? It is a very basic common feature that any other platform has. I would like to move some event registrations into HubSpot but we have people who receive free passes and having 2 forms are NOT an option on a public registration page

We are once again asking for a 100% discount option.

100% off dicount code is needed for our company as we have diffent membership tiers with perks that grant them access to two free marketing materials. It’s confusing for the client to have to use two forms (one free and one paid) if they go over their two limit. It’s cluncky.
I am having to use a seperate form provider due to the lack of 100% coupon code abilities! I would ultimately love to just use HubSpot forms for payments which would make campaign tracking 1000% easier!!!

HOW IS THIS NOT LIVE?! I need to offer a 100% discount code for an event but can’t. I now have to rebuild my whole registration for the event on another platform because YET again, hubspot have been informed of something years ago and done nothing. Funny that they can do it for their own events though isn’t it…
We really need this feature, we have had multiple clients that chose to use a different platform instead of HubSpot Payments due to this and other reasons. For example, our client provides exclusive memberships that had up to 100% off on certain products. In their previous system this was pretty straightforward, but in HubSpot is simply not possible. And creating another form is simply not good solution, the client and the customers wants to track purchases and how many discounts were used (in their normal pipeline), as this provides value to their memberships. Truly, for this and other reasons I just don’t see any motives to recommend HubSpot payments to our clients, we need so many workarounds to make it work to a bare minimum.
