Sorry, missed your reply when you posted it. Clearbit is supposed to be better but with a smaller database and stronger in some segments/sectors than others. Zoominfo is super costly and not sure about Seamless.ai though I have heard of it.

I have created some lists in Apollo and pushed contacts from this list to Hubspot. There are also several other contacts that have also been pushed which are not part of this list but part of other lists.

Does anyone know if I can re-create these lists in Hubspot after they have been pushed? I know that they can be tracked through 'Latest Source Drill-down' or 'Original Source Drill-down' if they are new but I cannot separate them from the other ones I have pushed.

I just wish Apollo had better integration functionality than they currently do.

Hey @RalphM87! When did each push occur? Maybe we can also use a create date or latest source field to narrow things down.

I'd like to invite some awesome community members to add their insight: Hey @Ben_M, @HubSpot_Corey, @DSharma02 do y'all have any tips for segmenting Apollo contacts in HubSpot based on list criteria in Apollo?

Hi @RalphM87 and thanks for the tag @kennedyp

I think you're right on the money @kennedyp with using create date if they were pushed at separate times. Alternatively, I would suggest checking your imports in settings to see if the integration is using this to push contacts, if that doesn't work and creation date won't work, then I suggest opening up a contact from each list and going through the properties to try to find a property that can distinguish the two.

I created a custom field in Apollo and Hubspot. I then selected all of the records in a list or view and chose the option to Update a Field in Apollo. I entered a unique value. In my sync settings, I mapped these fields. Then I synced all of the records using the Hubspot Sync button. The problem with this is that it isn't very scalable b/c I would over write the values each time I sync for records I sync more than once from Apollo. But you could create an active list in Hubspot, do the above that I describe, and add them to this active list. Then you could create a static list from the active list so you have a permanent record of what lists/views they were on at the time you synced them.

I can't believe we can't sync the names of the lists into a "pick list" in Hubspot. You could create that but again it isn't very scalable. And the "Lists" field in Apollo cannot be mapped to a field in Hubspot. So you have to create a custom field.

Thanks for sharing this. Yes, it's absolutely ridiculous how limited and ineffective this integration is. To make things worse, the data in Apollo is not even great. Sigh!

I've been using latest source field but don't find it too scalable. Field values get overwritten and it's difficult to have them added to a static list except for using a workflow to do this.

Do you recommend a better tool? There are a lot of enrichment/sales tools out there. Hubspot bought ClearBit, which I have used before. But have not purchased that add-on for Hubspot. Seamless.ai? Zoominfo? Any others you recommend?
