Seeking feedback on Shopify app

Hi all,

We're subscribers to Marketing Hub, and we operate an ecommerce site. Our website is undergoing a transition and there's a possibility we'll be migrating to a Shopify cart later this year. We haven't had an API/order sync in place with HubSpot so far, so the possibility of using the Shopify app to fill out our customer records and track orders is very appealing.

I'm hoping to hear from others who use the Shopify app on their overall impressions, satisfaction with the sync, and whether there is anything they would advise us to keep in mind as we undergo the migration.

I've read the reviews in the HubSpot marketplace and it seems like there's a fair amount of dissatisfaction with the latest version of the app, and I'd like to be cleareyed about any limitations going in. Specifically:

Any downsides, unforseen issues? Are you generally happy with the performance?
Is order information reportable/segmentable in an intuitive way? We want to be able to create targeted email marketing lists based on order activity.
For anyone with Operations Hub, does custom mapping work well for you? I'm not clear if the custom mapping just gives you access to a larger number of fields, or if you can do truly custom builds, like syncing to a Custom Object.

If you’re using Operations Hub, custom mapping provides flexibility, including syncing to custom objects for tailored workflows.

I’d love to hear others’ experiences @franksteiner79 and @FelixGreen. Do you have any thoughts?
