Hello,

How can we check which users leave reviews on Trustpilot after sending them an email from Hubspot with the link to their profile?

I have seen that there is currently an integration: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/es/marketplace/listing/trustpilot-reviews

But from what I can see, the data goes from Hubspot to Trustpilot and not the other way around, and what we mainly need to see is which users leave reviews after we send our email.

To track which contacts leave Trustpilot reviews after receiving your HubSpot emails, you'll need to implement a tracking system. Here's the approach:

1. Add unique UTM parameters to your Trustpilot links in the email (e.g., ?utm_source=hubspot&utm_campaign=review_request&contact_id={{contact.id}})

2. Use Trustpilot's API to pull review data back into HubSpot. You can set up a custom integration using HubSpot's Private App or middleware like Zapier/Make to:
- Fetch new reviews from Trustpilot API
- Match reviewer email with HubSpot contacts
- Update contact properties when they leave a review

3. Create a custom contact property like "Left_Trustpilot_Review" (checkbox) to track who responded.

4. Build a workflow that triggers when the email is sent, waits for the review data to sync, and updates the contact record

The key limitation: Trustpilot may not always provide reviewer email addresses in their API response, so matching can be tricky. Using unique tracking parameters in the review link helps identify which contacts clicked through.
