Hi everyone,

I’m exploring ways to improve workflow efficiency by connecting HubSpot with third-party tools used for content creation particularly video editing apps like CapCut or Canva Video.

Is there an existing integration or a recommended method (through API or Zapier) to automatically sync project data or analytics from these tools into HubSpot?

I’d love to hear how other marketers or creators are managing this type of setup. Any insights or integration tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Great question! Integrating creative tools like CapCut or Canva Video with HubSpot would be a huge time-saver for content teams. While there isn’t a direct native integration yet, many users have had success using Zapier or Make (Integromat) to automate file uploads, analytics tracking, or task creation. It’d be amazing to see a more seamless connection in the future — this kind of workflow could really enhance marketing automation.

I completely agree syncing video tools like CapCut or Canva Video with HubSpot would make campaign tracking and creative management much smoother. I’ve been exploring similar options and found that using HubSpot’s custom API workflows or connecting through Zapier can help bridge the gap for now. Hopefully, HubSpot adds a native integration soon!

Hi @davidmubarak , good question, and you’re not missing anything obvious. Today, there’s no native HubSpot integration for tools like CapCut or Canva Video, and that’s mostly because those platforms aren’t designed as data-first systems. They focus on creation, not on exposing rich, structured analytics via APIs.

In practice, most teams handle this in one of three ways. The lightest approach is Zapier or Make, usually triggered by events like “video exported,” “design published,” or “file added,” then writing a simple update into HubSpot. This works fine for basic metadata like asset name, URL, campaign tag, or status, but it tends to break down once you want ongoing updates or analytics.

Canva’s API access is also limited depending on plan, and CapCut’s API surface is very thin, which means you often end up syncing from an intermediate system rather than directly from the editor.

The more durable pattern is to treat HubSpot as the reporting layer, not the source of truth for creative tools. Teams often push video metadata and performance metrics from wherever those metrics actually live, sometimes YouTube, Meta, or a data warehouse, and associate them back to campaigns, deals, or custom objects in HubSpot.

That keeps HubSpot clean and avoids overloading it with partial or stale creative data.

Small disclosure since I’m close to this topic: I work on Stacksync. We sometimes see teams in this situation move beyond one-off automations once they want consistent updates across many records, especially when the data doesn’t originate in HubSpot. Having clearer control over how external data maps and updates HubSpot objects makes these content workflows much easier to maintain over time.

For now, though, starting with Zapier or Make is reasonable.

Just be intentional about what data actually needs to live in HubSpot versus what’s better left in the video platforms themselves. Hope this helps.
