    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="2"&gt;For us as a B2B SaaS company, the difference between a MQL and a SQL hinges on not just a lead's level of engagement or interest, but also some qualifying information about the lead's company purpose, size, industry segment, revenue, budget, workflow needs, and more. A true "sales-qualified" lead would be a prospect who not only wants to buy our products, but is able to afford them and is capable of realizing actual functional value by purchasing them. If we can actually solve a pain point for them, and they would truly benefit from purchasing from us, then it makes the sales conversation that much more likely to result in a successful close. It goes back to "The Hero's Journey" - we want to spend time with leads we can assist on their own journey to success. That's what makes them "a good fit". &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT size="2"&gt;The flipside of that is that not everyone matches our buyer persona(s), which means not everyone who is interested is necessarily "sales-qualified". And that's okay.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Information that makes this lead worthy of direct follow-up from sales is having an agreed upon-definition of a sale and where the buyer is at on their journey. An example of this would be a customer who wants to talk to sales, called a hand raiser. MQL needs to define the lifecycles stages of its contacts, from prospect to lead. SQL will then conduct a direct follow up within 24hrs, hoping for an opportunity or potential customer. Sales would then set up a closed loop reporting, and marketing will take that data and set up Service-level agreement then Marketing report, resulting in CRM.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
