    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are currently trying to find the best use of our inbox. We currently have the automatic generation of tickets turned on. So every conversation in our inbox is a ticket.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We wanted to find a way to assign the ticket then to a company. Unfortunately we just see company assignments on the right bar, but we are not able to connect from here. &lt;P&gt;With HubSpot's inbox set for automatic ticket generation, every incoming conversation creates a new ticket; however, company association with these tickets is not always automatic and can be inconsistent depending on how contacts and company records are set up in your CRM.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How Company Association Works with Inbox-Ticket Automation&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When a ticket is created from a conversation, HubSpot will associate the ticket with the contact linked to the conversation, provided that contact exists in your CRM.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that contact is already associated with a company, HubSpot endeavors to associate the company with the ticket—but this is not guaranteed for every conversation or email, especially if the contact lacks a linked company.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The associations that do occur are visible in the ticket sidebar within the inbox UI, and they enrich the ticket with relevant company and contact details for the support team.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Common Issues and Solutions&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If conversations are started by contacts without company records—or if company associations aren't consistent—tickets may miss the company link automatically.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;HubSpot workflows alone cannot yet provide a reliable way to bulk-associate companies to tickets after ticket creation based on logged email or inbox activity.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Third-party platforms like Insycle can be used to match ticket, contact, and company records by common fields (like email domain or phone number) and establish associations in bulk or on a schedule—they can even automate these processes as tickets are created.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Best Practices&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Ensure that all relevant contacts are associated with a company in CRM; this improves automatic association when tickets are generated.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For higher automation and consistency, consider a platform like Insycle to bulk-match and associate tickets with companies based on custom logic, then schedule this action to run regularly.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Review your ticket pipeline and automation settings to ensure ticket and activity association options are&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I hope this helps but other than this may be some custom code with your fuzzy logic you can also build. Some custom coded action.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you very much for your detailed reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Because we are a small company, the automation is nice to have, but it is still the case that we do a lot of things by hand - which is fine for now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But this is where our problem is. When the automation is not able to assign the ticket automatically to the correct company, we have to do it on our own (which is fine). The way we have to do this manual assignment is the problem though.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We can not, as far as we know, assign the automatically created ticket in our inbox to a company!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have to copy the ID of the ticket, search for the company, open the company, click on create ticket and assign an existing one with the ID that we copied before in our inbox.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope I was able to explain the problem properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Isn't there any smoother way we are missing?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Benjamin&lt;/P&gt;</description>
