How to Set Up and Optimize HubSpot and MD365 Integration with Custom APIs?

Hey everyone,

We're working on connecting HubSpot with Microsoft Dynamics 365. We want to sync contacts, leads, opportunities, and customer info smoothly between both systems. We're also looking into custom API scripts to keep our data accurate and improve our workflow.

Can anyone help with:

- How to set up a custom API integration for two-way data sync? This includes creating, updating, and deleting contacts.

- Tips for managing scripts that can handle tricky data changes or checks before moving info between systems.

- Ways to make this integration faster, especially with large amounts of data or complicated workflows?

Any advice on best practices, especially for dealing with tough data mapping and sync issues, would be super helpful! Thanks!

For integrating HubSpot with Microsoft Dynamics 365 using custom APIs, you'll need to set up a middleware or API-based sync.

Hey @IFarafonov,

i think there are two ways, how you can achieve this.

Check the marketplace for already build MS Dynamics apps
If you don't want to rely on 3rd party apps, you can create a private app for your portal.

Private apps are great as you can use them to manage (and automate) quite a lot of things in HubSpot. If you're looking for a CronJob/Webhook automation, I recommend to add AWS/Azure/Firebase to the equation.
