Welcome to the Community @rzahra. And thanks for thinking of me, @BérangèreL 😊

Using a CRM in any time will help with connecting more deeply with contacts/prospects (notes, transcripts, summaries all help), and work smarter (efficiencies, auto-logging emails & meetings, automation). But I agree, the more we're to "do more with less," the more vital a CRM becomes.

For me, an example is actually outside of sales. When I was running trainings and onboardings, bringing in new clients each week, I used HubSpot to manage the new client onbosrding journey. A few tools I'd use included:

Templates for emails so I was consistent and efficient

Workflows with our custom object "services," so I could manage operations processes like task assignment and follow up if the new client didn't get me the information I needed

Sequences for missed meetings to reschedule with me

Playbooks to help ensure all information was centralized in a note when the happy client wanted to talk to sales and increase their engagement with us

So yeah, even when you're not directly in sales, a CRM can help with better communication!

Every business, no matter its size, faces moments where resources feel stretched thin. In today’s market, companies are being asked to achieve more with less — less time, less budget, and fewer people. The challenge is not just about surviving tough conditions, but also about finding smarter ways to sustain growth.

This is where CRM proves its real value. A system like HubSpot can help teams identify inefficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and give a clear picture of where efforts generate the highest return. Instead of adding more tools or increasing costs, CRM enables businesses to maximize what they already have — their customer relationships, their data, and their workflows.

I’d love to hear from this community:

Have you experienced a situation where CRM directly improved efficiency or reduced operational stress?

Which specific HubSpot features have you found most valuable in helping businesses stay resilient during challenging times?

Sharing real-world examples could help many of us understand how to use CRM not only as a growth tool, but as a survival strategy.

I’ve seen this play out a couple of times, especially when budgets were tight and headcount wasn’t growing. The biggest shift came when we started using HubSpot’s workflows more aggressively. Things like automating lead assignment, follow-ups, and even simple internal reminders. That alone cut down a lot of manual work and freed the team to actually talk to customers instead of chasing spreadsheets.

Another area that surprised me was reporting. Having a single dashboard that tied marketing and sales activity together exposed a few places where we were doubling efforts. Once we saw that, it was easy to re-allocate resources and focus on the channels that actually moved the needle.

For resilience, I’d say the combo of automation + visibility has been the most valuable. It’s not glamorous, but when you’re stretched thin, shaving off those repetitive tasks and spotting waste quickly can be the difference between just holding on and actually growing.

I’ve seen teams in the same spot trying to do more with fewer hands and the way HubSpot helped most was by turning routine work into background processes.

Workflows for things like lead rotation, renewal reminders, or even internal task creation are quick to set up, and once active they run consistently without someone babysitting them

That cuts down hours of manual updates and makes sure no customer falls through a crack.

Another area where efficiency really shows up is reporting. When you connect sales, marketing, and service data into one dashboard, you suddenly see where duplicate effort happens.

Maybe marketing is still chasing leads sales already disqualified, or service is sending outreach that overlaps with sales sequences. Custom dashboards let you surface those overlaps and redirect resources toward what’s actually working (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-reports-with-the-custom-report-builder )

That visibility saves budget in ways adding headcount never could.

What I found especially useful in harder times is combining both: automation keeps the basics humming, and unified reporting highlights the smartest bets for growth. If consistency between HubSpot and your finance or ops system is the gap, Stacksync keeps them mirrored as changes happen. Hope this perspective helps.
