Filtering Companies by a specific date range or Contact Form Fill

We recently participated in an event and used a specific form for the CTA. I can filter the contacts via the form, but I need to also filter the companies that were created. I don't see a way to do a custom "created date" or to attach the company to the contact form fill. Am I missing that option? Any ideas on how to do this?

Hi @DiStad,

Are you creating companies via the automatic company creation setting or via company fields on the form?

One thing that you could do is the following:

Create a company-based list of companies which are associated to contact who submitted the form (click Add filter, then change the Filtering on dropdown to Contact)
Add an additional filter for Company create date is on or after [event date]

It's not 100% accurate but should be close enough for your purposes.

Hi Karsten,

I believe the system is creating the companies as it is creating the contactsfrom the form. My work around is exactly as youo described, however, we ran several events and campaigns during the same timframe and it takes a bit of searching to find only those for a specific event.

@DiStad if you filter by the form submission of the contact, then the only ambiguity would occur when the same contacts submitted forms for multiple events. Otherwise, the filter for contact form submission + company create date should give you the results you need.
