Edit knowledge base template

Hello, I'm setting up a company's knowledge base and I have some questions.
Is it necessary to have permission to edit the page template, create sections, forms and make changes such as the menu size for article pages?
Are these actions possible or is there no tool for this yet?
If it is possible, how can I edit it?

Hi @JoaoLuiz

Currently, knowledge base can not be editied in design manager or using custom themes/templates, meaning the flexibility is limited to what's availabe in the settings in the UI.

Using Google Translate 😀, I understand that you'd like to know if it's possible to edit the Knowledge Base template by adding a custom script to the HTML. Please let me know if that's not the case.

I checked for you and I could see an Idea here: "More flexible knowledge base design and layout, including custom HTML/CSS" which is in planning!

On this Idea, you'll find the comment of @tilly. So, I'd recommend submitting the form so that you can have access to the "Flexible knowledge base customization".

The Hubspot Support representative responded to my request:

"My technical team responded saying that at the moment it will only be possible to control the width the way you want by adding a custom script to the HTML when you are editing your articles to apply the width adjustment as desired."

Do you know where this setting is? Where can I add this script?

If you want to add code snippets to the head or footer HTML for a specific knowledge base article, you can use code snippets with HubSpot content.

This is how:

Navigate to your content, the Knowledge Base:

In your HubSpot account, navigate to Service > Knowledge Base.
Click the name of your content.
In the content editor, click the Settings menu and select Advanced.
In the Additional code snippets section of the dialog box, enter your code snippet into the Head HTML or Footer HTML field.
