Hello,

Is it possible to report on updated/published/deleted articles of the knowledge base?

Context: Our support team's KPIs are related to updating the knowledge base and X amount of updated/new articles per quarter. We are looking for ways on how to track this.

In HubSpot, you can create a custom report that filters articles based on their last modified date. You can specify the time frame (e.g., quarterly) and filter articles that have been modified within that period. This report can display details such as the article title, last modified date, and author.

Thanks for the reply. That was actually my first idea as well. But I could not find the option to report on the articles. Could you give me more information on how you create such a report? What primary data source did you choose?

Hey there @MHaas22 . Apologies for the delay, I somehow missed the original tag from @PamCotton. As we say in the Miswest... ope!

In any case, in looking through my own HubSpot portal, I don't see an easy way to make this happen. While the KB articles home page does show last updated, and you can see what's been archived, there isn't an easy "report on this here" that I can see.

The insights tab simply shows if articles are helpful.

I also looked in the reports library, and there are only two reports for the KB, and this ain't it. Then I looked at building a custom report, and KB isn't a data source. The Service Hub tools only show Conversations and Feedback Submissions, so nothing about KB articles.

To me, this means it's not something HubSpot currently offers, so it's something we should post in the Ideas forum. I looked, and there are several ideas on KB reporting and insights. I'd suggest looking through those and adding your voice to those that align. Hopefully a HubSpot product manager sees the upvotes.
