Account Email Update Assistance

Hi Community,

We've recently changed our company name and need to update our emails accordingly. I can't seem to find where to do this. I've also spoken to a HS team member by live chat and they weren't able to help. Can anyone help with this, please?

Hi @unelson ,

Which emails are you looking to change?

User Emails
Connected Email Sending Domain
Connected Inbox Emails

For Editing User Emails:
- The user will have to go into their General Preferences >> Security >> Edit Email Address

Changing Connected Email Sending Domain
- Go to Settings >> Content >> Domains & URLs >> Connect a Domain >> Email Sending
- You may have to disconnect the current first depending on how many domains you are allowed.

To change a Inbox email
- Settings >> Inbox >> Connect a channel
- The same is true for Help Desk, but you will have to do it in the Help Desk settings

Before we troubleshoot, I'd like to clarify a couple of points of information:

-Where specifically are you looking to update your emails (i.e. in your Community profiles, in your HubSpot portal?)
-What context did HubSpot Support provide you? Without sharing their personal name and information, I'm just looking for general troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

That was super helpful, thank you so much. For now I just needed to change the user emails but will return when changing all the the emails too. Hope you don't mind if I reach back out then if I encounter any issues.

It was to change the emails used to log into HS. All good now, though. Thanks for your help!
