Whatsapp automated messages

Hey, I have WhatsApp channel added to hubspot and need to automate OOO messages during the weekends. I have the marketing hub professional license but cannot create workflows based on conversations and cannot find a property linked to a contact that I could use as a trigger. How can I create a workflow that starts when a new WhatsApp message is sent by a user? Is there any other way to send this kind of auto-reply messages?

For OOO/weekend auto-replies on WhatsApp, the right place to look is Inbox Automation, not Workflows. In HubSpot, go to Settings > Inbox & Helpdesk > Inboxes, select your WhatsApp channel, and check the Automation tab where you can configure automated replies with time-based conditions. This is separate from the Workflows tool and is specifically designed for conversation-based triggers.

Thanks, but I don´t have Automation tab in Settings> Inboxes . Should I be checking somewhere else?

If I remember correctly, this requires Service Hub Pro and a business WhatsApp account. Not the current setup on our system, so I can't double-check.

What if we're using help desk and not inboxes? I don't see an automation feature for helpdesk

Thanks for following up here!

Generally, we would expect a feature like this to be outlined in our knowledge base article on the integration. In the case of connecting a WhatsApp channel to Help Desk, we don't currently have any mention of being able to automate messages.

My best recommendation here would be to post the need for this in our Ideas Forum. This would allow other users to upvote your idea, expand on it, and present the need directly to our Product team.
