Hi @JEngelkens!

Since HubSpot doesn't support automatic forwarding from the conversations inbox, the best approach is to either manually forward new emails or set up a forwarding rule from the connected email provider (like Gmail or Outlook, if still active). If you're no longer using HubSpot, it's recommended to delete or deactivate the inbox to prevent further messages. While there's no built-in export function for inbox emails, a developer can use the HubSpot Conversations API to extract the messages if needed.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need further clarification in any of the topics I suggested.

Hi all,

We recently moved away from HubSpot, but we are having some post-migration issues.

Our inboxes are still active, and emails sent to one of the inbox's fallback emails still appear as new conversations in the inbox. We would like to forward those incoming emails to our actual support team email.

What is the best approach here? Is this possible, or is it better to just delete the inbox? Also, what is the best way to export the emails to this fallback email address? I understand this is not a function out-of-the-box, but I would like to know how it can be done regardless.

Hi Carolina,

Thanks so much for your answer, I appreciate that. Is it possible to set up an auto-responder instead, or is that not an option either?
