Can Custom Objects be displayed in the Customer Portal

We are exploring setting up a customer portal in Service Hub and want to know if it is possible to display customer objects to customer's through the customer portal?

Regarding your question, currently, it is not possible to display Custom Objects in the Customer Portal within HubSpot. The purpose of the Customer Portal is mainly focused on showcasing and granting access to the standard objects.

I came across a similar request in our ideas forum: Customization in the Customer Portal. I encourage you to upvote the feature request and share your use case in the comments section. The more votes and engagement an idea receives, the higher the chances of it being reviewed by the product team.

@Colombo Hey there! Let me share something with you. You can create a "Customized" Customer Portal - we've actually done it before for a client who worked with partners (customm object).

🧐 These partners had their own private access to the Customer Portal where they could view and modify their personal information. The main goal for these partners was to bring in new clients as part of the company's growth strategy.

So, it was like a Customer Portal designed specifically for partners.

What I'm trying to say is that you could create your own Custom Customer Portal that displays the information you need, including Custom Objects. You could even give each of your clients a personalized homepage showing their data, orders, project information – whatever you want.

To achieve this, you'll need HubSpot's Membership* Sites functions, which are included in the CMS Enterprise package.

So there you have it – it's totally possible to create a "Custom" Customer Portal that meets your needs!

* Memberships is a feature that makes it possible to require visitors to have an account in order to access content.
