      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I would like to connect my marketing@ email to our conversations inbox.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However, when I go to connect it as a channel, HubSpot expects it to be a google group email address, which it is not. It is a alias email address.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Also, it seems like HubSpot wants me to create a new marketing@ email address instead of connecting my existing one.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Would I need to change my marketing@ email address from an alias to a google group email address?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any advice would be greatly appreciated&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had the same issue with both MS365 and Google emails and the solution I used was the following.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connected a new channel to the inbox, choosing new email. At the next screen there is a question: "What kind of team email do you want to connect?" I choose Other email"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In that case the email is not propoerly connected to HubSpot, but all incoming emails can be forwarded to a specific HubSpot address and the email comes inside the inbox.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To set this forward, can create a filter rule in Gmail settings. (forward if "to" = &lt;A href="mailto:marketing@yourdomain)" target="_blank"&gt;marketing@yourdomain)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It worked fine for years in customers support cases I just implemented it again in my new company&lt;/P&gt;</description>
