topic Sales Sequences Auto-Responses (Out-of-office, invalid, etc..) in Sales Hub Tools

Is there a way to prevent those out-of-office, invalid emails, no longer at this company from auto-responses when setting up a sales sequence? We are sending a couple hundred and I don't want my client to get spammed with a bunch of auto-replies, esp when this will un-enroll them from the sequence.

Especially with it being summer, I am afraid there will be a good amount of them. Please tell me this is possible!

Hi @GSchuster,

Happy to help here.

HubSpot is attempting to correctly recognize these emails and in most cases, out-of-office replies will not cause unenrollment, see here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/unenroll-from-sequence

As far as generally receiving those auto-responses go, they're being sent from the recipient. It's not something that HubSpot can prevent and it's also not something that HubSpot can automatically manage as HubSpot is neither email client nor email service provider.

Incoming auto-response emails would have to be filtered out on a personal inbox level, using filters/rules.

Create rules to filter your emails

Manage email messages by using rules

Users would have to set this up individually.

Best regards!
