choosing which email adress to send sequences from (Outlook)

Hi,

I have three different email adresses associated to my personal office365 account and cannot figure out how to connect them all to HubSpot so I can use a specific one for 1:1 and in sequences.

Since they are part of the same account I end up with only the primary (that I don't want to be using) even when attempting to connect to the other one specifically. I am not able to add or send from the other two.

Does anyone know what to do?

Hi @MagdalenaP,

Yes, you can easily do this by connecting all the 3 personal inboxes to your HubSpot.

Navigate to settings -> General -> Email -> Connect personal inbox.

I explain with this video. After connecting the 3 email addresses, you can choose which one to send your sequences and 1:1 emails from.

thanks for the quick help.

I did exactly what you showed me but the weird thing is that even though I ask it to connect to the firstname.lastname@domain adress I want to be using it still defaults to my primary firstname@domain email.

I made a video to show you what it looks like.

In this case, you most likely aren't logged into the Outlook email account of the firstname.lastname@domain, and when HubSpot automatically connects during the integration, it picks the firstname@domain.

My best suggestion is:

1. log firstname@domain out of Outlook on your computer and log firstname.lastname@domain in; or

2. log both firstname.lastname@domain and firstname@domain into the Outlook on your computer, if that's possible.

Either way, HubSpot will be able to ask you to fill the details (password, IMAP, incoming, outgoing servers, etc) of the firstname.lastname@domain during the integration.

I have now been able to connect both mailboxes, thank you.

But I still cannot figure out how to pick the adress to send the automated email in the sequence from. They are still being sent from firstname@domain

For any that find their way to this article, this link here should take you directly to the knowledgebase article that outlines the steps. Alternatively, I've added a screenshot below. To change the email address, after connecting both inboxes, simply select the "From" option at the bottom of the contact sequence enrolment page and choose the desired email.
