Hey Karsten,

They use the sales extension (BCC) so it is for incoming emails in the crm. So it is just your regular email (no marketing mails as we can use that in workflows) As they have different brands in the same branche, they use one Hubspot Portal. So as example. 1 person can mail from name@company-a , name@company-b or name@company-c.

Each user in Hubspot has three different aliases. What they want is that based on the alias (@company-a , @company-b or @company-c ) the contact they are mailing with or getting a mail from, needs to added into a specific list.

So basically: the contact mails to a specific alias. That alias should be the trigger in the workflow but haven't find a way to make that work

Hey there,

We have a customer who has different alias that he sent from within the same CRM. We want to have a list based on what customer they sent with a specific email adress. I can't seem to find in workflows, so was wonder if anyone has did this before or find a way to make this work.

Thank you in advance

Hi @Pedrodelamigo,

Can you specify this part or maybe rephrase? Are you referring to an incoming email or outgoing? If it's incoming, how are you registering the incoming email? If outgoing, how are you sending the email? Is it a sales or a marketing email?

@Pedrodelamigo wrote:

If you could share more details about the HubSpot tools you're using, members like me will be in a better position to help. Currently, there's not enough context for a solution.

Best regards

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the response! As I mentioned to Karsen below, they have different brands in the same branche and use Hubspot Portal. So as example. 1 person can mail and can get mails from name@company-a , name@company-b or name@company-c.

So it's not really about transfer of ownership but more that they need to be put in a list based on which alias they mail to!

Lists might help, but that "owner email" token could make it more automatic. But if you prefer the lists, then I think @karstenkoehler may have different insight.

Hi @Pedrodelamigo,

If I understand you correctly, HubSpot users have set up multiple email aliases and contacts should be filtered by which of these aliases is used when communicating with them? As far as I know, that's not possible. "Activity assigned to" filters are on a user basis, not on a user email basis.

Best regards!
