Moving deal backwards asks me to add a non-required property

Hi community!

When I want to move backwards a deal to a previous stage, it asks me to fill a non-required property. Even though I can click on next without actually filling in the field, I don't want this pop-up to be prompted.

Do you know if this is something that can be avoided?

Hi @AS11. If I'm correct, I believe in your Deal Pipeline, you have a "Update Stage Properties" set for that specific deal stage you are trying to move the deal into. To check, go to Settings - Objects - Deals - Pipelines - Choose the correct pipeline - And see if there is anything set for the "Update Stage Properties" on that specific stage.

Yes, that is already set, but the issue here is that the pop-up is shown when though that property isn't required, and the client don't want that to happen because it is confusing. HubSpot's support told me that the only way to avoid this is to DELETE the property but this is not the actual solution 😞
