Found a discrepancy by copying a contact date property into a deal per workflow

Hi all,

I am wondering about a discrepancy I have found while testing a workflow.

We have set up a simple workflow, that copies each contacts 'Recent Deal Close Date' into the associated contacts deals.

Now the strange part:

Contacts value in 'Recent Deal Close Date': '23.06.2022 02:00 GMT+2'
The copied value that ends up in a deal: '22.06.2022'

Any ideas or similar observed behaviour? My guess is some kind of issue with the timezone. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm not sure to which property you're copying this? a custom property? a default one?

I'm wondering if maybe you have workflows errors and/or automatic properties change that cause that. You can see the source of the change if you click on details when you hover your mouse on the property value in the record.

In any case, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, where you are able to share screenshots and specific examples about this.
