Start a sequence based on custom field values in Deals

is it possible to create a sequence based on a contact and deal? for example, if a contact has 3 deals, each deals has a custom field date.

i would like to create a sequence for each deal based on the custom date field, so that it would send an email for ech deal when due.

Hey @RichardCH, so it's not possible to change sequence delays based on custom date properties. Sequences are pretty straightforward, so the delays can only be in terms of "1 day", "2 days" etc...

For more sophisticated automation you might want to check out the Workflows tool: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows-user-guide-v2. It's a part of the Marketing product but you can get a free trial to try it out if I recall!
