topic Setting Up HubSpot Meetings with Google Calendar - Email Address Associated with the Invitation in Sales Hub Tools

When I integrate HubSpot with Gmail, I am able to select which email address within the Gmail account I want to use to send email from. (The main email address of my Gmail account is a personal one, and then I have a POP account connected to it as my business email address.) I use the business email address.

When I integrate Hubspot with Google Calendars, it integrates directly with my main Gmail account address (with no option to select my business email address). Hence, when an invitation is sent to a prospect/customer, it comes from my personal email address and not my business email address.

Is there a way to solve this issue or a work-around to bypass it? I'd like the invitation sent to the prospect/customer (after he/she has chosen a date and time from my HubSpot Meeting link) to come from my business email address within my Gmail account.

Secondarily, if there is no solution/work-around, can I simply stop the invitiation from being sent altogether?

Thanks!

Hi @MG3,

Because your calendar is connected to your email address (not the alias/business email), there is no way to swap out what email your invitation is coming from. Additionally, there is no way to turn off the invitation. For more info on meetings, I wanted to share the meetings user guide.

Thanks for your reply. I have found a work around. Google allows you to create a Google account with any email address (eg. a business email address). So, I created a separate Google account with my business email. This allowed me to gain access to a Google Calendar connected to the business email. (I did NOT create a Gmail account under this Google account (doing so would cause the business email to becaome secondary).) I then shared my other (personal) Gmail account/Calendar with this new 'business email' Google Calendar and connected this new account to Hubspot Meetings.

Dear MG3,

I am having one heck of a time getting your work around to function.

Would you be willing to meet me on a screen share? or take this offline, if that makes sense. Many thanks!

Currently, I have HubSpot email synching with my Gmail ( that is connect to Google account #1) , and Hubspot meetings unsucessfully connecting with a calendar that is connect to Google account #2). I get a Hubspot error in this connection phase.

I have sucessfully shared my Google calendar (connected w/ Google account #1) to my new Google calendar that is connected to Google account #2.

I believe we both had the same goal, such that when Google calendar sends out confirmation emails to my client, that the email address showing is your company email address, not a gmail address.
