Change company name associated with domain when generating a proposal

Our domain name was previously associated with another company by a different name and when sales people generate proposals for us using HubSpot, the company name is auto-filing to the old company name. I'm constantly having to correct the salesperson with our correct information.

How can I provide our correct company information to HubSpot so that when any sales proposal is created for us the correct information autofills for the salesperson?

Thanks Karsten, I'm not a HubSpot customer and not referring to data in my own account. I'm referring to when other companies use HubSpot to send me proposals for their own services. HubSpot is autopopulating my company information based on the domain name from an internal database. How can I tell HubSpot what the correct information is which will be available to all companies that use HubSpot to generate documents and populate their CRMs?

@AtomicGlue for one, I think it speaks about the diligence of your vendors if they can't get your address right 😄 Yes, HubSpot prepopulates this but they should (like any respectable vendor) make sure the information on the quote is right. I've created many quotes using and a lot of the times, the address information is not correct.

That being said, I'm not aware of a way to directly influence the info pulled automatically. HubSpot "combines data from public sources, third-party vendors, and from across the Internet to create the most comprehensive, enriched profile for contacts and companies in your account", that's as much as is being disclosed: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai-tools/get-started-using-breeze-intelligence#how-does-hubspot-source-data-for-the-breeze-intelligence-commercial-dataset

If I were to guess, creating a free HubSpot account for your company domain and updating the company info gives you the best chance of influencing HubSpot's sources: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/update-your-account-name-and-company-information
