Extract Emails in Sales Documents

We have over 200 documents hosted in Sales Document, and each document is viewed about 30 times. I'm unable to extract/export the list of emails that viewed individual documents within the UI.

Is there a way to extract this using API or some other connection?

Great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!

I have great news for you @Giovannib! I can see on this Idea "Create Lists, Workflows & Notifications for Sales Document Views", with the comment from @hhiggins, that a new feature has just been delivered for this on the 14th of April 2025! 🎉

You can now create a contact based list, then select "Documents" as a filter, and pick the option you are interested in, like for example "Contact viewed a document".

Then you can "Export your list".

Also, I love to see that you are using lists, that's a great start for segmentation! ❤️
I was wondering, how do you qualify your leads? Do you have a lead scoring system in place?
If you are not using it yet, this could help you further support segmentation.

Ooh nice. While this gives me an aggregate view (i.e., everyone who viewed a Sales Document), I need to see it broken down by individual documents. The export option is only a running list, it doesn't give me insights into how many documents they viewed or which ones. That's crucial for us, as it helps us determine engagement level and influence lead scoring.

For example, just seeing Bérangère@email.com is not as helpful as seeing Bérangère@email.com twenty times across 100 sales documents. Right now, it just shows you engaged with us once vs 100 times.
