On Hubspot Quotes Show Monthly Price on Line Items and Yearly Price in Summary

Hi Hubspot Community,

as the title suggests I am looking for a solution that enables a quote to have in the line items table the monthly costs e.g. 50€ per month. (dont mind the 120€/ Monat in the screenshot it should be 50€)

and in the summary line on the bottom the xearly amount e.g. 600€.

Reason is it makes more sense to show the customers the smaller monthly amount first and only in the bottom have the yearly amount stated.

Is there any way to achieve that?

Hi @CResch

when creating a line-item you can choose a duration and decide whether it is a one-time or monthly payment.
If you choose a monthly payment and e.g. 12 months durations you should see exactly what you are looking for (see screenshots).

first of all, thank you for the quick reply.

This solution would work, however, it only displays the tax for the monthly amount then. It is typical in Austria (and I can imagine Germany) to display the total tax amount for the whole year.

Is there any way to display the tax amount for the whole year? I have modified modules in the Design Manager before but I can not seem to find a workaround to multiply the monthly tax times twelve.

As you can see in the screenshot I was able to rename the Tax to 20% Ust. which is the usual way of describing it in Austria. Now, if you could help me get the yearly amount so 1080,00€ I would be a very happy Hubspot user.

Yeah and honestly one big problem would be that for the invoices we obviously want them to be sent out only once per year. I assume this is also not possible because when it is set to monthly on the quote then it will also send out the invoices on a monthly interval.

Okay, I think I figured out kinda of a workaround... still **bleep** a lot but I guess it is what is.

I could add a text field in the quote so people can manually calculate the yearly price and write that in. And then when customers sign we can create a new invoice and add the line item and set it to yearly.

Problem is, the total amount in the above example of the screenshot does not even include the yearly tax. it simply uses the monthly sum * 12

I honestly don't want to create another workaround where one has to manually entry the total sum by adding the yearly contract value and the before calculated tax amount.

Hi @CResch ,
that's correct, if you add a line-item that is recurring to an onetime invoice, HubSpot will automatically make the line-item a one-time purchase. The feature is limited here.
You can always add ideas in the idea forum or alternatively check the HubSpot marketplace for integrations like sevdesk or lexoffice with more functionality.
