How to create growth reports?

Hey,

I would like to create 2 reports that shows Total Amount Earned by Closed deals over time and the other one is the development of the deals over time by deal phases. But, I couldn't create them using the custome reports. Thank you for the help and time!

Hi @DOz3,

For the first report, you would simply put the Close date on the x-axis or a report and the deal Amount on the y-axis. This works best in a vertical bar chart or as a line chart (where you can click Chart settings and check the Cumulative box for a growth line). Make sure to filter the report by deal stage so that it only shows closed won deals.

For the second report, you'll have to browse the sales analytics: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-sales-reports-with-the-sales-reports-analytics-tool - specifically the "Historical snapshots" report.

Thank you so much for your detailed answer and help. I have a quick question.

While I am using "historical snapshots" breakdown by "Deal Phases", I cannot see last 2 phases(Deal Lost, Deal Closed) on the figure. How can I resolve it? Thank you for your consideration.
